How we score
Every number on this site can be checked. Here is exactly how they are made.
Five criteria
Each game gets five scores out of 100. The final score is their weighted average, rounded to a whole number. No hidden adjustments, and nobody can pay for a score.
How much the game asks the squad to split roles, cover each other and talk.
How good a typical session is with a group, including the stories you tell afterwards.
How quickly a new crew member can join and be useful: controls, learning curve, hosting.
How many good sessions it gives before the squad moves on.
What the squad gets for the US list price, including updates and how many copies you need.
Example: Deep Rock Galactic
- Teamwork 25%
- 95
- Fun as a squad 25%
- 94
- Easy to join 15%
- 86
- Replay 20%
- 92
- Value 15%
- 92
95 × 25% + 94 × 25% + 86 × 15% + 92 × 20% + 92 × 15% = 92.35 → 92
Tiers
90+
Book it. The whole squad will thank you.
85+
A great trip for most crews.
80+
Excellent if it fits your squad. Check who it suits.
< 80
Only for specific tastes.
The danger level
A 1 to 5 estimate of how much pressure a typical session puts on the crew, from Relaxed to Brutal. It is not part of the score: some crews want a calm base-building weekend, others want to lose everything and try again.
Crew facts
Crew size, online and split-screen support, crossplay, release dates, US list prices and Steam Deck ratings come from Steam, the developers and SteamDB as of 6 Oct 2026. Voice chat need, danger level and playtime are editorial estimates.
Independence
We only cover games sold on Steam. No publisher can buy a score, a position or a place on a game-night list. Store links are plain links to Steam.
